Glaucoma is a silent, progressive disease that can result in permanent blindness. A “silent disease” is one where there are no symptoms until much later stages.
This is why Dr. Park checks each patient during their routine eye examination to assess their risk of developing glaucoma.

If she thinks you are at risk for glaucoma, Dr. Park will perform a full evaluation.
If you have already been diagnosed with glaucoma, Dr. Park is a certified glaucoma specialist and is able to treat and monitor your condition. Sometimes, patients come in with severe cases. She will refer you to other appropriate specialists if you need more aggressive management.
